Last year, Steph and I altered our working routine, and I started working 3 days a week in my studio, on work for Yellowstone, and freelance design work. It took a little adjusting, (I didn't like being away from the shop at first) but now, I'm at the point where I can't fit my artwork in to my 3 days. I'm taking on more and more Bespoke Wedding Stationery jobs and getting involved in exciting external exhibitions.
Yellowstone is now over THREE years old and I'm really to push myself that bit further, both as an artist and as a businesswoman.
So I've decided to take on a little more help with Yellowstone, so I can continue to fill it with lovely work. At the minute we are a team of six- Steph, Me, Laura, Emily, Hattie & Lauren. And a six we will stay because...
Steph will still be doing weekday shifts to entertain you all, and brighten your day. And I'll continue to work in the shop, and be there lots of weekends.
Laura has been with us for two years now, and knows YS inside and out. Most of you will know Laura already, but I wanted to officially introduce you to her. She'll be helping me make sure that every customer is happy and can find the personal, thoughtful, handmade gift that we strive to provide.
So over the next few months, as we all adjust slightly, you'll see more of Laura in the shop and more of my work popping up!
Without loyal customers, who understand how Yellowstone works, we wouldn't be able to grow so organically with the business. So a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you. And a big HELLO to Laura in her new role.
